I will continue to support and improve current programs implemented by the previous Constable.

I will be a full-time Constable and make myself available to the public. The Constable is truly the people's police and should be available to address concerns of the community.

I will ensure that all civil process is served in a diligent and efficient manner. Daily operations will constantly be evaluated to determine the most cost efficient operational standards.

I will evaluate the current take home vehicle program to determine if it is necessary and if it is being utilized in the most cost efficient manner (reduction or elimination will save tax payer money and liability).

I will develop and implement programs that assist our citizens and local businesses such as;

Provide training programs to identify fraudulent identification
Provide training programs to identify fraudulent currency
Provide training programs to identify possible safety threats in the community and how to defend against the threats
Provide training programs on hot check prevention

I will work closely with the school districts and other local law enforcement agencies to combat truancy by enforcing the compulsory school attendance law. This enforcement will in no way infringe upon the rights of home school children or their families.

I will institute an open door policy for sharing ideas and solutions to the day-to-day challenges of staff morale, shrinking budgets, increased politics, intense accountability and other hurdles I will face as an administrator.

I will implement a standardized policy and procedure manual so the agency can apply to be recognized.

I will ensure that ALL employees are treated with respect and dignity. No harassment of any kind will be tolerated.

I will lead the department to become a viable resource in the community for citizens to call upon.
